Using an Existing Domain with HostByBelle Web Hosting

If you have an existing domain and want to use it with your HostByBelle web hosting, follow these steps:

  1. Log into your domain manager and access the DNS settings for your domain.
  2. Set the DNS to the name servers provided to you in the email from HostByBelle when you signed up for the web hosting service.
  3. Save the changes to your DNS settings.

Once you have set the DNS to the correct name servers, HestiaCP (the control panel used by HostByBelle) will automatically configure the DNS entries for your domain.

What if I've lost the email?

If you have lost the name servers provided to you in the email from HostByBelle, you can contact the HostByBelle support team by creating a ticket. The support team will provide you with the correct name servers for your web hosting as soon as possible.


What software do we use?

HostByBelle is a strong believer in open source software, a lot of our software and tools are open sourced!

Control panel

For the control panel, we use HestiaCP.

While it's not as feature rich as some of the more advanced control panels, it is stable, secure, and has all the basic functionality expected from a control panel.

  • Automatic SSL certificates through Let's Encrypt

Web Server Software

HestiaCP uses a combination of Apache as a web server and nginx as a reverse proxy.


How long does activation take?

If there are no errors, activation of your HostByBelle web hosting account should happen almost instantly. You can check the status of your activation by logging into your account and going to the "Orders" section.


What should I do if activation fails?

If the activation of your web hosting account fails, don't worry. The HostByBelle support team will try to check for and resolve any activation errors as quickly as possible. However, if you need assistance, you can always create a ticket and request help from the support team.


Are custom plans available?

If the standard plans offered by HostByBelle do not meet your specific needs, you can request a custom plan. To do this, create a ticket through our billing portal. A member of our team will review your request and work with you to create a plan that meets your requirements.


Do you offer VPS hosting?

Thank you for your interest in HostByBelle's services. Currently, we do not offer VPS hosting. However, we have received requests for this type of hosting and plan to offer it in the future. Stay tuned for updates on our website to be the first to know when VPS hosting becomes available.


Do you offer reseller hosting?

At this time, HostByBelle does not offer reseller hosting and does not have plans to offer it in the future. However, we may reconsider this decision in the future and may offer reseller hosting if there is enough demand for it.

We are based in the United States, with server infrastructure located in the western region specifically.
