Logging Into the Control Panel

Need some help accessing the control panel? Here's some information to get you started. If you still need help, feel free to submit a support ticket and we will get back to you ASAP.

  1. Locate the activation email you received for your order. The title should be something along the lines of "Value Hosting for example.com Activated".
  2. Find the "Control Panel Login Details" section of the email.
  3. Click the "Control Panel URL" link to be taken to the login URL for the control panel and then use the provided username and password to login.*

Configuring your Domain

If you decided to bring your own domain, you can easily connect it with your HostByBelle hosting and you have two methods available to you.

Option 1: Name Servers

  1. Login to the administration dashboard for your domain registrar.
  2. Locate the name server configuration for your domain, delete the existing name servers, and then enter the ones you found in your order activation email.**
  3. Wait 24-48 hours for the domain propagation to fully complete.
  4. Once the propagation is complete, your domain will be using the DNS entries as configured inside of the control panel.

Option 2: Manually configure DNS records

  1. Login to the administration dashboard for your domain registrar.
  2. Go to the DNS settings for your domain.
  3. Create a new A record for the root of the domain (often represented by `@) and then point it to the IP address found in the welcome email you received.**
  4. Wait 24-48 hours for the domain propagation to fully complete.

Please keep in mind, the specific type and configuration of DNS records that you my need might vary depending on your specific needs. Cloudflare has a brief page that covers the basics if you're looking for a quick introduction for DNS records.

Uploading Files via the Control Panel
